Product Description

1) During die casting, minimize segregation. If aluminum segregation occurs in certain parts, during degreasing, aluminum will first dissolve, creating pores and pinholes on the surface of the die casting that cannot be cleaned, resulting in poor adhesion, and causing peeling and blistering of the coating.
2) The residue from the process of die casting and machining should be cleaned as much as possible after processing. Because the residue is an active metal, it will react with the solution in any process of electroplating, damaging the plating solution and causing an impact on the electroplating quality.
3) During grinding and polishing, attention should be paid to controlling the size of the 0.05~0 A 1mm dense layer is very important for electroplating. When polishing, it is necessary to minimize the loss of the dense layer. If this layer is ground away, it will expose a porous structure, and a good electroplating layer will not be obtained on this layer.
4) The copper-nickel-chromium electrodeposited layer composed of multiple plating species is a negative plate plating layer relative to the substrate, with only mechanical protection. However, zinc alloy parts corrode in humid air, so it is necessary to ensure that the plating layer is free of pores. Otherwise, the corrosion products of the zinc alloy will cause blistering of the coating. Compared to steel parts, the plating layer should be thicker to be suitable for zinc alloy die castings.
